historical facts or events are not the interest of my work. these are purely the way i saw things, when i visited these places, and witnessed events. festivals etc. what mostly amazes me is the level of planning, skill, dedication, science that existed many centuries ago, to execute these creations. for example the haleebedu twin temple complex, were built over a period of 190 years. i am of the firm belief that far more superior technology existed all along, and we lost it to invasions, illiteracy, or calamities and natural disasters most of the work is black and white, firstly because that is my style of work, and i also feel that color usually represents a false story especially given the current practice of post processing them. most importantly, i do hope these visuals elicit an interest to visit these places and witness them for oneself.
